We are very excited to continue our tradition of granting wishes for children in need and bringing joy to the holiday season in 2025!
Buffalo Wishes helps provide gifts to local families and children in need by collecting, wrapping, and delivering new donated gifts that match their personal wish lists. This year, all proceeds will benefit the kindergarten, first, second, and third graders and families at Enterprise Charter School.
All students have been sponsored! Thank you!

Thank you to all who sponsored students this year! Please keep in mind—our goal is to fulfill all three wishes (within reason) and two items of need for each child, which typically equates to approximately $75-100.
Unwrapped gifts will be accepted through December 8 by the Little Match Girl Foundation, Monday through Friday between 9am and 3pm, at Enterprise Charter School (275 Oak Street, Buffalo, NY 14203) or from 9 am to 5 pm at the Aleron offices (250 International Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221).
We’re often asked how much to spend on a student:
Our goal is to fulfill all three wishes (within reason) and two items of need for each child, which typically equates to approximately $75-100. Here are a few examples.
Example 1: Child asks for a Barbie, Barbie Dream House, and a baby doll and needs a coat, hat/gloves, and boots. A perfect bag would be a Barbie, Barbie car, baby doll, hat/gloves, and boots. We don’t expect anyone to buy a $150 Barbie house, but a car, horse, or one of the many other accessories for Barbie is great!
Example 2: Child asks for clothes, a scooter, and a teddy bear and needs shoes, hat/gloves, and a coat. A perfect bag would be khaki pants, a sweater/sweatshirt, a scooter, teddy bear, shoes, and hat/gloves.

Other ways you can help:
- Help wrap gifts – We will have thousands of gifts to wrap and will be hosting a wrapping party on December 13 at Enterprise Charter School starting at 9 am. Follow us on Facebook to learn more.
- Make a general donation – We accept general donations here.
- Purchase extra gifts – We will always accept donations of hats and gloves (we try to give them to each child), socks, small toys, or art/school supplies for those who may need a little extra something. Please indicate it’s a general donation when dropping off. We started an Amazon Wish List so you can easily purchase items and they will ship directly to us!
- In addition to supporting the children at the school, Little Match Girl also sponsors a few of the school’s families who are in need by purchasing gifts, food, and household items. All general donations for 2025 will go to this cause.
- And we are always in need of wrapping paper and tape!
